  13. I usually get my 28.8k v3.4  modem connect at 26400bps.  Over the year, it 
  14. might connect at 28.8 kps for 3 or 4 times.  Many say that 28.8k is already 
  15. pushing the limit of the phone line and most of the time it just won't go to 
  16. 28.8kps.  As the latest model (one by USR) push the limit even higher, I 
  17. wonder if it make any practical sense.
